What Does Alimasy’s Lifetime Warranty Cover?

For your peace of mind, all Alimasy products come with a lifetime warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.

The lifetime warranty only applies to the original owner of an Alimasy product which has been used under for the purpose intended in a responsible and normal manner.

The lifetime warranty does not cover products subjected to improper use, cosmetic changes, bought second hand or not purchased directly from Alimasy, or without proof of purchase.  This warranty does not apply to damage caused through typical wear and tear, unreasonable use or neglect.

If your product doesn’t live up to our promises, simply contact us and we will take care of you.

What do I do if I want to submit a warranty claim?

Please include your name, address, phone number, Alimasy order number (#0000) and details of your issue or concerns. Please include some photos or a video if possible.

Shipping Information.

We ship all orders from our warehouse in Gold Coast, Queensland. 

Our shipping partner is Australian Post.

We ship orders everyday Monday to Friday (excluding Queensland Public Holidays) and our cut off for same day shipping is 11am.

Orders placed before 11am (AEST) Monday to Friday will be shipped on the same day.

Orders placed after 11am (AEST) will be shipped on the next business day.

Orders placed on a Friday after 11am (AEST) or over the weekend will be shipped on the first business day following the weekend.

Please consider in your planning any potential delays in us shipping orders and/or courier networks during busy shopping periods like Black Friday, Christmas and Back to School. 

You are welcome to choose a Standard Service or Express Service at the checkout and the shipping fees for these services are:

AUSTRALIAN SHIPPING RATES:

Standard Shipping: $10.95

Express Shipping: $16.95

Please note during our sale periods Express Shipping won't be available due to the incredible discounts we offer and standard shipping costs will apply during these times.   

Please note delivery timeframes provided by Australian Post may be subject to change depending on local delivery conditions and any change to the delivery timeframe is totally outside of our control once a parcel has been handed over to our shipping partners.

Tracking details are automatically provided for all parcels following shipment. If you have any difficulties regarding your tracking details or your parcel delivery, please contact us or our shipping partner directly.

International Shipping

We ship to New Zealand & the USA using Australia Post's Air Tracked services:

New Zealand Shipping Rates:

Standard Air Tracked Service: $10.95 AUD

Express Air Tracked Service: $29.95 AUD

USA Shipping Rates:

Standard Air Tracked Service: $15 AUD

Please note any custom duties, taxes or charges due at time of import are the responsibility and payable by the customer. Any refunds for packages returned to Alimasy due to a customers failure to pay import charges will be reduced by the cost of return shipping incurred by Alimasy.

Our Returns Policy

We love our products – and we think you will too.

However, if you're not a fan, you can return your Alimasy product within 30 days of receiving it for a full refund (excluding any shipping costs).

Please note Change of Mind returns only applies to products which are unused and still in the same condition you received it in (including the original packaging and tags attached) and you are responsible for all costs incurred to ship a change of mind return.

We will process the refund once the product(s) has been received and inspected to ensure it meets our change of mind return conditions.

Ensure you pack your returns parcel appropriately to prevent any damage during transit. Alimasy Pty Ltd will not be responsible for any lost or damaged products being returned for a change of mind refund.

Don't forget to include a copy of your order confirmation in the parcel, so the warehouse knows who has sent the parcel!

Do You Allow Exchanges?

We don’t offer exchanges as these can be tricky for customers and a business to manage especially during busy shopping periods, and we would hate you to miss out on your preferred option being out of stock. To complete an exchange, we advise you place a new order for the item you wish in exchange and return the change of mind item. Please note the cost of all change of mind returns are incurred by the customer.

• Carry the backpack with both straps – we know this sounds boring and one shoulder looks way cooler, however trust us your older self will thank you for this smart “uncool” decision.

• Remember any food spillages from lunchboxes or unpackaged food left in your bag for a long period of time can potentially make the backpack dirty and very smelly – if you forgot to give the teacher an apple today, pop it in the fridge overnight. Trust us your backpack and the teacher will thank you tomorrow! 

• When you aren’t out and about having the most amazing adventures with your bag or backpack ensure you store it in a cool dry place and be sun smart by keeping it out of direct sunlight. 

• Do not store your bag or backpack when it is wet – trust us you really won’t like the smell if you do, and we guarantee no amount of flowery spray will fix that smelly mould problem. 

• We get it accidents happen. If you need to spot clean your backpack, we advise you use a warm damp cloth and only use mild detergent. Now is not the time to try all the latest 101 best cleaning tips which popped up on your newsfeed earlier, so please do not bleach, tumble dry, dry clean, soak or iron your backpack.
